Our Commitments
Sustainability
We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment and to helping you to minimise your household waste, whilst ensuring our products continue to consistently taste great.
As part of this, we are actively working to reduce the amount of packaging we use.
Any questions?
Take a look at our FAQ page, otherwise get in touch and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Our Packaging
The plastic film we currently use to wrap most of our cheese is made up of a number of different layers. These ensure the cheese doesn’t become contaminated before you open it, has a good best before date and stays fresher for longer, thereby helping to reduce food waste.
As a result of these layers, this packaging is not currently widely recyclable and there are presently no recyclable materials that deliver these levels of food protection, quality and safety.
We are on a mission to make all of our packaging recyclable by 2025
Meanwhile
You can now recycle your flexible plastic cheese packaging through The Cheese Packaging Recycling Programme. More details can be found here.
We are also working closely with WRAP, a leading non-governmental organisation, and are signatories of their flagship Courtauld Commitment 2025, a voluntary agreement that brings together organisations across the food industry to make food and drink production and consumption more sustainable. About The Royal Countryside Fund

“Farm Support Group Initiative, helped many others to access local support when it is needed most. Without any doubt, the Farm Resilience Programme has united us as a family and given us and our farm the direction its needed.v I firmly believe that we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for The Farm Resilience Programme – our backs were against the wall.”

(humans) are free when they belong to a living, organic, believing community, active in fulfilling some unfulfilled, perhaps unrealised purpose. Not when they are escaping to some wild west. The most unfree souls go west and shout of freedom
